Adoption Process & Waitlist

Families first read through the website information and then contact us for our puppy adoption application. Once approved, a $300 booking fee secures a place on the waitlist. A $400 confirmation deposit maintains the family’s position when puppies are born. Puppies are allocated around 6–7 weeks after health checks and temperament assessments.

Puppies Matched

Puppies are thoughtfully matched with their families around six to seven weeks of age following their health checks and temperament assessments.

  • Veterinary health check
  • Vaccination
  • Microchip
  • Worming program
  • MDBA registration
  • Four weeks of complimentary Trupanion pet insurance

We are also happy to assist families requiring interstate transport arrangements.

Training & Socialisation

Cobberdogs are known for their intelligence, affectionate nature, and eagerness to learn. We recommend families begin planning training before their puppy arrives so the transition into their new home is smooth and positive.
